Halloween for Kids

Halloween is a great holiday because you can literally be anything you want. Darth Vadar Princess? Done. A Magical Fairy Princess? No problem. Halloween is a time for everyone of all ages to get together and have fun, whether or not they prefer tricks or treats, spooky or sweet costumes. Denver has no shortage of fun events for kids (and adults!) We've compiled a list of the Denver Halloween events we are most excited for!

Is your kid dressing up as their favorite animal this year? The Denver Zoo's annual "Boo at the Zoo" is celebrating its 34th anniversary of this animal themed event with trick or treat stations, animal demonstrations, and lots of family friendly entertainment. Union Station is hosting a "Boonion Station" Kids Halloween Party and Parade on October 25 at at 5:00 pm. Take your ghosts, witches, police officers, and princesses down to Union Station for trick or treating, costume contest, parade and mini train rides. For more info, click here!

For the train enthusiast, head to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden for the Trick or Treat train on October 27-28 2018! Ride in a vintage passenger car, take photos in a pumpkin patch, and check out their not so haunted graveyard. Click here for the details!

For fans of the creepy and the dark and that are over the age of 12, Anderson Farms offers a unique Halloween experience; Zombie Paintball Hunting. Not only do you get to shoot zombies with paintballs they can't shoot back. Wish the cast of the Walking Dead had it that easy (and that fun!) For tickets check out their website, this is a recurring event through the month of October!

Maybe we are biased but we think the coolest event in Denver for Halloween is the annual DREAM DANCE STUDIOS SPOOKTACULAR. On October 26 at 5:30-8:30 pm join fellow classmates and friends for the best party in town, with a costume contest, crafts, games, and lots of dancing. Did somebody say monster mash??
